The software for our computer-generated patterns was started in 1984 by Coleman Reed Ammerman. His software was used to custom-fit subjects in two PBS series: Sewing with Julia (1987)and Sewing with Patterns by Computer (KTXT-TV, Lubbock, TX). The custom-sized patterns were featured at G-Street Fabrics, Rockville, MD in 1988-1989 (see Nancy Kyle in Since 1984). The software has also been used in sewing classes in public schools (see "High Tech Patterns" in Since 1984).
